I think I saw one of your advertised products online for less. Do you price match?
We do not. Unlike internet retailers, Vintage Home maintains a physical store, warehouse and has physical products on display for customers to view and purchase. Moreover, we employ a team of people who assist our customers with their space design needs. A typical internet retailer does not have these expenses, and rides the back of a traditional retailer, hoping to make a quick buck after the customer has expended the traditional retailer’s time and money. Moreover, the internet retailer usually has no stock and will simply have the merchandise shipped directly to the customer from the manufacturer in the cheapest manner possible. This can lead to contested damage claims, which are time-consuming and expensive. If you are an “internet price match” shopper and do not value a complete solution, we would ask that you shop elsewhere, allowing our employees to spend time with customers who are seeking a more complete, value-oriented solution.
When is your next sale?
Vintage Home holds one storewide sale annually—our Floor Model Clearance Sale, which typically runs from December 26-January 1 of each year. We also hold additional Floor Model Clearance Sales throughout the year, depending on timing of the arrival of new lines and/or products. Throughout the year, we offer special pricing on specific items, usually on discontinued or promotional items. These products can be seen here. We do not offer any additional sales or volume discounts. We prefer to offer quality products, competitively priced, 365 days per year.
Who makes your products?
Vintage Home carries quality, solid hard-wood furniture sourced from small, boutique manufacturers. Many products we carry are exclusive to us. By mid 2018, 90% of the products we sell will only be available from Vintage Home.
Do you ship outside of the 150 mile delivery & set up radius?
Tired of receiving damaged merchandise from internet retailers who have never seen or touched the products they carry? Most internet retailers simply take your order and have the manufacturer ship you the product -- usually in the least expensive manner possible. We only sell products we physically manage and all shipments originate from our own warehouses. Our dedicated Quality Control team physically unboxes and inspects every product prior to shipping. We palletize large purchases to assure that your order arrives at your home in damage-free condition. We can also arrange White Glove Delivery & Setup for out of state customers. The cost for Shipping of your order via commercial carrier is calculated at check-out based on dollar volume.
I’m building a house and it won’t be done for six months or I am purchasing a house and don’t close for 60 days.
As a free service to our customers, Vintage Home will aggregate and store your order at no charge for up to one year while you complete your build, purchase or remodeling project.
What is your Return Policy?
All sales are final, whether your product(s) are shipped or not. Vintage Home does not permit returns on overhead lighting and area rugs. Vintage Home does not permit orders to be cancelled and does not provide cash refunds. A 25% restocking fee applies to all orders canceled prior to delivery or shipping - the difference will be returned via merchandise credit. Vintage Home will provide a 75% merchandise credit for all merchandise returned to the store within 48 hours of receipt. Returned merchandise must be in like new condition, in original packaging.
At purchase, if you are not taking your purchase home with you today, Vintage Home does one or more of the following:
1. Tags your in-store product purchase as sold to you and has item(s) wrapped and transferred to our warehouse for pickup, shipment or delivery, or allocates your in-stock purchase for you at our warehouse and holds your product(s) for pick up at our warehouse, shipment or delivery & setup.
2. Orders your products from our manufacturer or have them transferred to our local warehouse from our external warehouses, to be held for pick up at our warehouse, shipment or delivery & setup.
3. Products conform to samples displayed, on our website, and on our showroom floor. Photographs are considered representations and may not be a 100% accurate representation of color. Slight variance in size and color can be expected. Products made of natural materials such as leather, wood, metal, concrete and stone may include unavoidable variation in color and texture, uneven grain, blemishes, marks, scratches and cracks. These are not defects, but the materials natural characteristics. By ordering these products, you accept the characteristics.
Purchase is not contingent on fitment of the purchased products in your space. Customer accepts all liability and responsibility for measuring their space prior to placing order.
Purchase is not contingent upon customer’s approval of how the purchased products appear or look in their final destination. Changes in lighting, time of day and colors present in the environment can change the appearance or tones of products.
Timelines for ordered products are estimates and provided based on the best knowledge available to us at the time of sale. Updates are provided weekly on ordered product timelines. Customer understands and accepts that a change in the fulfillment timeline for ordered products are not a valid reason for order cancellation.
